Cricket Development Manager
John manages the coach development programme, providing qualifications for coaches and other informal opportunities. As County Safeguarding Officer, John also leads on the safety and wellbeing of cricket participants across the club cricket network.

Simon supports clubs across the county with ECB Clubmark, development planning, webinars & workshops, Play-Cricket adoption, investment in facilities and working with local authorities. Simon also works with indoor and outdoor open age leagues.

Cricket Development Manager
Ben is responsible for junior cricket in Hampshire, including All Stars and Dynamos, as well delivering Hampshire's schools cricket strategy alongside Emily Munro. In addition, Ben manages HCB’s holiday courses and matchday activation, including the T20 Skills Challenge, at the Utilita Bowl. Over the course of the summer, Ben will also be leading on Hawky's U9 festival. Alongside this, Ben makes up one third of the funding and grants team for Hampshire, supporting clubs with their Creating Welcoming Environments applications.

Sam heads up the ‘urban’ and ‘inner-city’ community programmes across Hampshire. In Southampton, Portsmouth and Basingstoke we offer a wide range of opportunities for communities, families and young people to access cricket in their area. The ‘Wicketz’, ‘Street’ and ‘MCC Foundation’ hubs provide a non-traditional pathway to play cricket and gain personal, social and life skills. We utilise community partnerships, strong relationships with local facilities and connecting the with each community to deliver sustainable cricket provision.

Emily Munro

Emily Munro

Cricket Operations Manager
Emily is HCB’s Company Secretary and an Executive Director of HCB Ltd. In addition, she oversees Hampshire’s Schools Cricket Strategy and manages the workforce who deliver across the county. Working closely with Ben Saunders, she ensures that both primary and secondary school delivery, including competitions, are managed throughout the academic year.

Senior Cricket Development Manager
Mike oversees the Women & Girls programme, managing the Women & Girls Development Officer and delivering the Girls Regional Performance Centres and W10 initiative. Mike also looks after our expanding Disability programme, managing the Super 1s Development Officer and the Disability Performance Programme.
