ECB County Grants Fund 2023

The County Grants Fund aims to support affiliated cricket clubs to create welcoming environments, provide enhanced facilities and playing opportunities, and to help clubs tackle the impact of climate change.

In the first round of the ECB County Grants Fund (2021-2022), 23 Hampshire clubs were awarded a total of £203,000.

  • Creating Welcoming Environments (CWE) - ECB affiliated cricket clubs registered for All Stars or Dynamos in 2023, or actively involved with women and girls cricket and / or disability cricket.
  • Providing Enhanced Facilities and Playing Opportunities (PEFPO) - Affiliated cricket clubs actively engaged in competitive female only cricket and / or disability cricket.
  • Tacking Climate Change (TCC) - Any ECB affiliated cricket club.

In order to exceed ECB 'soft targets', HCB aims to spend a minimum of 20% of our budget on the Tackling Climate Change theme over the lifetime of the grant fund. We also aim to spend a minimum of 20% on the Providing Enhanced Facilities and Playing Opportunities theme. Round 1 priorities are below, with further rounds announced later in the year.
