Hampshire Cricket Board are recruiting 3 new roles this summer

Hampshire Cricket Board (HCB) is responsible for growing the recreational game in the county.  We aim to inspire girls and boys to play cricket through the delivery of school, club and community-based programmes. 

Wicketz Development Officer

In partnership with Lord's Taverners, we are appointing a Development Officer to maintain and grow our Wicketz programmes across Southampton.

We're seeking an energetic and experienced individual who can deliver across a wide range of key priorities and objectives. The role combines programme development with cricket coaching, much of which focused on the personal development of participants. The successful individual will engage young people from areas of deprivation/hard to reach groups into becoming active members of their local Community Wicketz Hub.

Wicketz Development Officer - Job Description

Community Coach - South East

Working in partnership with VIVID, we want to make cricket more accessible to disadvantaged communities in Portsmouth, helping to reduce the risk of young people becoming involved in criminal behaviour and being exploited.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic person to join our successful team, who has an infectious passion for sport to engage and inspire young people, parents, teachers and community leaders.  Experience of working in urban environments and working with young people, will be a distinct advantage.

Community Coach (South East) - Job Description

Community Coach - North

We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated person to join our high performing team.  This varied role will require the individual to have excellent communication skills, be well organised and have an infectious passion for sport to engage and inspire young people, parents and teachers, through cricket.

You will be responsible for running high quality sessions in schools as part of the Chance to Shine programme, as well as promoting and delivering national programmes such All Stars Cricket and Dynamos Cricket.
