Community Coach

Hours: Full or part time (minimum 21 hours). Includes some evenings and weekends.
Salary
: £18,450 per annum (pro rata) + expenses

Contract: Permanent.
Location: North Hampshire

The Role

Hampshire Cricket Board is responsible for growing recreational cricket in Hampshire.  We aim to inspire girls and boys to play cricket through the delivery of school, club and community-based programmes. One of our priorities is to make the game more accessible to people from diverse communities and this role will be central to achieving this in areas such as Basingstoke, Aldershot and Farnborough.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic person to join our successful team, who has an infectious passion for sport to engage and inspire young people, parents, teachers and community leaders.  Experience of working in school and community environments and engaging with a range of communities will therefore be a distinct advantage.

The successful person will design and deliver sessions in various environments as part of the Chance to Shine and Lord’s Taverners programmes, as well as All Stars and Dynamos Cricket.

A Level 2, Core Coach or Foundation 1 cricket coaching qualification is a requirement of the role, however we are looking for a person with the ability to connect with children in North Hampshire, so if you do not have a cricket coaching qualification all you need is a commitment to achieve it within a short period of time.
