Match Preview: Surrey v Hampshire, Vitality CC
A 13-player Hampshire squad will travel to The Kia Oval to take on Surrey in the Vitality County Championship
The Ageas Bowl’s Christmas Festival returns on Sunday 4th December (10am - 4pm) and the Hampshire Cricket in the Community-organised event has some exciting new additions for its third year.
Following the success of last year’s event, attended by 1500 people from across the Eastleigh Borough, the traditional Christmas market and Messy Church’s arts and crafts will be accompanied by CyberJam’s unique gaming room experience this time around.
With the cricket season over and the The Ageas Bowl’s annual Fireworks Party a true success, attention has turned to the upcoming festive season and where better to get in the spirit of Christmas than at the home of Hampshire Cricket.
Guests can explore an array of community stands, relax with cake and tea in the Arlott Atrium, or tuck into turkey and cranberry rolls at an outdoor BBQ to the sound of Salvation Army's stellar brass band and local school choirs performing Christmas carols.
If our Nativity scene and an appearance from Santa Claus himself isn't convincing enough, then locally-based CyberJam are offering guests the chance to play arcade classics and unreleased game 88 Heroes, whilst Playstation VR – the latest virtual reality console – is available to try out, all totally free of charge.
With tickets priced at just £2.50 for Adults and Under 18s permitted free entry, join your community in enjoying a spirit-warming day of fun, food and festivities at the The Ageas Bowl. Tickets are available from the gate on the day.
