Cricket Community Pays Tribute To Grassroots Volunteers

The NatWest OSCAs (Outstanding Service to Cricket Award) reward the contribution that volunteers make to the game.

The Hampshire Cricket family gathered at The Ageas Bowl to pay tribute to the volunteers on whom the game depends.

Local clubs and organisations put forward a record 50 nominees with category winners receiving an invitation to October's national awards at the home of cricket.

For the first time, the Lifetime Achiever was decided by a twitter poll with over 500 votes cast.

Ropley and Oakley Cricket Clubs loomed large in the awards, receiving national nominations for their All Stars and Vitality Under 19 Club T20 programmes to add to their Heartbeat of the Club and NatWest Cricket Force awards.
