Hampshire Duo To Take Part In October Half-Term Coaching Courses

Chris Wood and Lewis McManus will both be in attendance to pass on their advice and expertise during sessions taking place at the The Ageas Bowl

Two Hampshire cricketers will be taking part in selected cricket coaching courses being held at the The Ageas Bowl during October half-term.

Seamer Chris Wood and wicketkeeper-batsman Lewis McManus will both be in attendance to pass on their advice and expertise during sessions taking place at the home of Hampshire Cricket between Monday 24th and Friday 28th October.

All sessions, which vary in skill level and age range with something to suit everybody, will be conducted by Hampshire coaches with prices starting at just £60 per course.

Left-arm paceman Wood will be on hand on the Elite Fast Bowling Masterclass alongside Hampshire First XI Performance Analyst Joe Maiden, whilst McManus, who impressed with both the bat and gloves for Hampshire this season, will be in attendance for the Elite Wicket-Keeping Masterclass.

Alongside these two courses, there will also be the ever-popular Spin Bowling Masterclass, Batting Masterclass and a Two Day General Course, again run by Hampshire coaches.

Being able to offer a whole range of coaching courses this October is fantastic and we’re pleased to be able to make these opportunities available to cricketers of all levels and abilities. It’s great to have Chris and Lewis with us once again for some of our courses this year too - with first-class cricketers involved in these sessions, it really does give a unique and unrivalled coaching experience to those in attendance.
