£50k Boost For Grassroots Cricket In Hampshire

£50k Small Grant Scheme to Get The Game On

The England & Wales Cricket Trust (EWCT) Small Grant Scheme 2017 Supporting Get The Game On is now open to applications from affiliated cricket clubs.

The scheme aims to make an impact in the 2017 season by supporting clubs to make small changes to improve their long-term sustainability and/or to increase the number of games played.

Clubs can apply for a small grant (from £1,000 to £4,000) towards the purchase of any relevant products or materials (and associated professional labour costs) under one of the following project themes:

  1. Covers
  2. Social areas
  3. Energy/water consumption
  4. Flood defence measures

Application forms can be found HERE and guidance notes can be found HERE.  The closing date is Friday 20th January 2017.

Applications can be submitted electronically along with two quotes for each item to HCB.Admin@ageasbowl.com.  Scanned forms and quotes can also be sent in hard copy to:

Hampshire Cricket Board Ltd (EWCT SGS 2017 Get The Game On), c/o The Ageas Bowl, Botley Road, West End, Hampshire SO30 3XH.

21 Hampshire clubs shared £50,000 earlier under the 2016 scheme and a similar sum is on offer again, although successful 2016 clubs cannot re-apply.  Clubs whose main affiliation is with another county board should apply to that county’s scheme.
