Hampshire Cricket Second XI will contest the ECB Second XI T20 Finals Day at Arundel later this week after a run of excellent results ensured a place in the competition climax on Thursday 15th August.
Hampshire advanced to the semi-final after earning victory in the final group stage game against MCC Young Cricketers, as Lewis McManus blasted through to a quick-fire half-century (71 off 40 balls) to secure an 83-run win and a finals day place.
Having lost only once and winning there four remaining fixtures, the side topped the group and now find themselves firmly in the hunt for silverware when they face Durham in the second fixture on Thursday.
Nottinghamshire and Glamorgan will contest the first semi-final of the day, beginning at 10:30am before Hampshire take to the field at 1:45pm. The final will then take place at 5pm.
