Utilita Bowl is the home of Hampshire Cricket, Southern Vipers and Southern Brave.

In 2023, Utilita Bowl hosted England Women in a sold-out Ashes ODI against Australia on Sunday 16th July, before England Men take on New Zealand in an ODI of their own on Sunday 10th September.

Domestic action saw Southern Vipers successfully defend their T20 title and Hampshire Hawks reach a record-breaking tenth T20 Finals Day, with plenty of other cricket to be played in other competitions.

The Hundred also returned for a third edition, which saw record attendances across each matchday for the Women's fixture.

Hampshire Trio Selected for International Squads

James Vince, Reece Topley and Liam Dawson were all named in squads announced by the ECB

Hampshire trio James Vince, Reece Topley and Liam Dawson have all been selected for international winter tours it has been announced.

Club captain Vince has been named in a 15-man England squad for the two match T20 series against South Africa in February.

Topley was also included in the T20 squad and has also been named in a 15-man squad for England's five match ODI series against the Proteas, also beginning in February.

The limited overs cricket played by this group of players in the last six months has been very encouraging but we are all aware that there is still plenty of work to do. This ODI series against South Africa will be another important opportunity for these players to keep learning and developing their skills.

With an ICC World T20 later this winter the T20 matches will be a crucial part of our preparations.

As part of the squad announcements, a 16-man England Lions squad set to face Pakistan A next month has also been named

All-rounder Liam Dawson will once again feature for the Lions as they play a five-match 50-over series against Pakistan A next month. He joins Vince who was also selected in the squad, with the 24-year old captaining the side.

There has been a white-ball focus for the Lions this winter and after a successful T20 series against Pakistan A, they now have the opportunity to gain further valuable 50-over experience.
