James Vince Available for Kent T20 Clash at The Ageas Bowl

England batsman has been released by the ECB for the club's next two NatWest T20 Blast matches

Hampshire captain James Vince is available for the club’s next two NatWest T20 Blast matches against Kent Spitfires on Thursday (2 June) and Glamorgan on Friday (3 June) after being released by the ECB.

Vince has featured in England’s two Test victories over Sri Lanka and the return of last year’s leading runs-scorer in the NatWest T20 Blast will be a major boost for Hampshire, who will be looking to secure their first T20 win of the new campaign.

West Indian T20 captain Darren Sammy will also make his Hampshire debut on Thursday whilst fast-bowler Gareth Berg could feature in the squad, which will be announced tomorrow (Wednesday 1 June). after bowling for the Hampshire Second XI this week on his return from injury.

Hampshire’s clash against Kent will see the club show their support for those, past or present, who have served in the British Armed Forces. This will be recognised on the field when the Hampshire 2XI face a United Kingdom Armed Forces XI prior to the main event.

Off the field there will be performances from the Military Wives Choir and the HMS Collingwood Navy Marching Band, whilst fans will have the unique opportunity to get up close and personal with a number of military vehicles on site.

Past or present members of the Armed Forces are entitled to a big discount on tickets for this match, at £10 for Adults and just £1 for Under 17s.

Alternatively, Hampshire fans have until 23:59 on Wednesday (1 June) to secure their tickets for the match at the advanced price of £21 for adults, £18 for students and £5 for Under 17s.
