James Vince Tops Hampshire’s 2015 Most Valuable Player Rankings

The 24-year-old claimed first place for a third consecutive season

James Vince has topped the 2015 PCA Hampshire Most Valuable Player rankings, claiming the honour for a third successive season.

The rankings, which award points for batting, bowling, fielding and win contributions, look to highlight each domestic side’s biggest contributors across all formats over the course of the season.

Vince finished with an impressive 429 points to notch his highest total for the club – his prolific form in the NatWest T20 Blast competition undoubtedly playing a large role in his first place finish.

All-rounder Liam Dawson came a close second with 404 points and also finished in third place in the overall domestic MVP standings for the Royal London One-Day Cup competition.

Hampshire's 2015 batsman of the year Michael Carberry and Players' and Fans' Player of the season Gareth Berg finished third and fourth respectively, with Will Smith rounding off the top five.
