A new series from Hampshire Cricket historian Dave Allen marks the birthdays of notable and fondly remembered Hampshire cricketers
Hampshire Cricket Board is responsible for recreational cricket in the county. Our aim is to ‘grow and improve the game to provide a cricketing future for all’. We are responsible for delivering the recreational dimension of the ECB’s Strategic plan – Inspiring Generations in Hampshire. Our key priorities for 2021 to 2024 are to make cricket more accessible for women and girls, in schools and urban areas in Hampshire.
To help deliver our priorities, the Board is recruiting two additional Non-Executive Directors to work with its Development Team and partner organisations. Both positions are on a voluntary basis with expenses paid to cover associated costs with fulfilling the role.
The Board is particularly looking for people who have experience in one or more of the following areas:
Applicants should reside in Hampshire and have an understanding of recreational sport.
