Utilita Bowl is the home of Hampshire Cricket, Southern Vipers and Southern Brave.

In 2023, Utilita Bowl hosted England Women in a sold-out Ashes ODI against Australia on Sunday 16th July, before England Men take on New Zealand in an ODI of their own on Sunday 10th September.

Domestic action saw Southern Vipers successfully defend their T20 title and Hampshire Hawks reach a record-breaking tenth T20 Finals Day, with plenty of other cricket to be played in other competitions.

The Hundred also returned for a third edition, which saw record attendances across each matchday for the Women's fixture.

Southern Vipers begin their Charlotte Edwards Cup campaign against Central Sparks at Edgbaston on Saturday

Southern Vipers will be hoping to get their Charlotte Edwards Cup campaign off to a successful start when they face Central Sparks at Edgbaston on Saturday.

Following a strong start to this year's Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy and three consecutive T20 warm-up victories leading into the tournament, Georgia Adams side will be looking to carry that good form through to this weekend's curtain-raiser.

Team News:

The Vipers have named a 14-player squad for Saturday's fixture.

Charlotte Edwards will select from a fully fit squad, with England duo Georgia Elwiss and Danni Wyatt available for selection after being released by the national side to feature in the tournament. Paige Scholfield is also in contention having recovered from a thigh injury which has kept her sidelined since 29th May.
