Sussex are the next visitors to The Ageas Bowl in the first 'el clasicoast' of the season.

In this fixture last season, Hampshire were victorious by 22 runs with James Vince and Ben McDermott hitting a monsterous 124 run opening partnership.

The Hawks were successful in both 'el clasicoast' fixtures in 2022, winning at Hove by five wickets.

An unchanged 14-player squad has been named for the Hawks’ Vitality Blast clash with Sussex.

Captain James Vince followed up becoming the Vitality Blast's highest ever run scorer after his 88* on Wednesday night against Surrey with a magnificent 103 against Essex on Friday night.

Liam Dawson comes into the fixture in great form having taken six wickets in his last two matches.
