The Ageas Bowl’s spectacular annual fireworks party went off with a bang on Friday (2nd November) as 10,000 people witnessed an action-packed 20-minute display.

The sold-out event hosted at the home of Hampshire Cricket, saw Heart FM’s breakfast presenters Zoe Hanson and Rich Clarke leading the evening’s entertainment, playing a mix of old classic and chart favourites alongside a host of fun games and competitions.

An on-site funfair featuring the ‘Super Star’, ‘Star Flyer’ and ‘Sizzler’ rides also offered attendees plenty of thrills prior to the main event, whilst the Heart Angels provided activities for all to enjoy throughout the evening.

The crowd were also treated to an excellent performance by local dance troupe, Dance Power, to the soundtrack of popular film ‘The Greatest Showman’ shortly before the fireworks extravaganza at 7:30pm.
