The Ageas Bowl Fireworks Party: Visitor Guide

Everything you need to know about Friday's Fireworks Extravaganza

The Ageas Bowl’s annual Fireworks Display returns on Friday (6th November).

The home of Hampshire Cricket will play host to a spectacular 22-minute firework display set to a popular music soundtrack as well as fairground rides and facepainting!

Heart FM breakfast presenters Zoe Hanson and Rich Clarke will once again be hosting the event, providing plenty of entertainment as well as playing a mix of old classics and chart favourites throughout the evening.

The famous Rock Choir will also be performing on the pitch ahead of the firework extravaganza, whilst a host of funfair rides, including one of the biggest ever featured at the ground, will be available for use throughout the evening.

Tickets

Unfortunately the event has now sold out with tickets now unavailable to purchase.

All ticket collections will be from the Ticketing and Membership Office by the West Gate. Our helpful volunteers will be on hand to assist should you require.

Prohibited Items

No alcohol, sparklers or fireworks may be brought into the ground.

Food & Drink

There will be an array of food and drink available throughout the evening in the Derek Shackleton Suite and main Arlott Atrium, as well as from our concession units.

Sanjha's concession unit (east end of Rod Bransgrove Pavilion) will also be open, serving a range of Punjabi Indian cuisine.

Travel

Car Parking

Car parking on site for the event has sold-out.

If you have not purchased a pass before arriving at the ground for the event please do not bring your car.

Those who have pre-booked car parking, please display your hanger in your windscreen when arriving at the ground. 

Taxis

There will be a drop-off and pick-up area adjacent to the Ground with a taxi rank operating outside the West Gate.

Travelling by Bus

First Bus 8 service connects The Ageas Bowl with Hedge End Station, Southampton Civic Centre or Southampton City Centre. The bus stop nearest the The Ageas Bowl is located on Marshall Drive. For timetable information please call 0871 2002 233 or visit www.firstgroup.com/ukbus/hampshire.

The Xelabus X4 service links Southampton Airport Parkway station with the The Ageas Bowl.  The bus stop nearest the The Ageas Bowl is located on Botley Road. For timetable information please visit www.xelabus.info or call 0238 0644 715.

Travelling by Train

Southampton Parkway Station - trains from London Waterloo, Bournemouth and Weymouth. The Xelabus X4 bus links this station with The Ageas Bowl

Hedge End Station - trains from Portsmouth, Winchester and Basingstoke. First Bus 8 links this station with The Ageas Bowl

The Ageas Bowl's shop will be open throughout the evening and there will be a variety of light-up goodies available to purchase in the ground.

It is possible that there will be unauthorised sellers (selling similar light-up products) on the roads around the The Ageas Bowl.
