The Ageas Bowl’s England v South Africa ODI Sold Out!

The Ageas Bowl’s Royal London One-Day International on Saturday 27th May is now sold out

The Ageas Bowl’s Royal London One-Day International between England and South Africa on Saturday 27th May is now sold out.

In response to the high demand for tickets, the home of Hampshire Cricket added a number of additional temporary seats, but these have all now been snapped up and England’s second 50-over fixture against South Africa will be played in-front of a full house at the The Ageas Bowl.

The demand we’ve had for International tickets at the The Ageas Bowl this year has been phenomenal – it’s fantastic to see that there’s a really engaged following for International cricket in the South.

We are now working hard to prepare for what will be an excellent spectacle in front of a full house at the The Ageas Bowl.

Stuart Robertson, The Ageas Bowl Commercial Director

England against South Africa is the first of three Internationals at the The Ageas Bowl in 2017, with Eoin Morgan’s side returning to face the Proteas in a NatWest IT20 on Wednesday 21 June, before then taking on West Indies in a Royal London One-Day International on Friday 29 September. Although there are still some tickets available for these last two fixtures, they are expected to sell out and spectators are encouraged to buy soon, to avoid missing out.

Following on from last year’s undoubted success, after two sold out England Internationals, the The Ageas Bowl will once again be introducing international cricket to a younger generation of fans at the home of Hampshire Cricket in 2017.

A number of engaging, free of charge children’s activities, including free cricket coaching sessions, a climbing wall, laser quest, and giant inflatables, will feature again this year.

Situated an hour or less away from London, Brighton, Portsmouth and Reading, the The Ageas Bowl is easily accessible for anyone living in the South of England. With excellent transport links from all major stations in the area, as well as a Park & Ride Scheme, it couldn’t be easier to get to and from the ground.
