In her first game of the 2022 season, Trussler recorded her career-best T20 score of 29* against a strong Kent side, and took 1-17 as Surrey were kept to 79-9 in 20 overs in her second game of the 2022 Women’s T20 County Championship.

Trussler was included in the Southern Vipers squad ahead of the 2022 Charlotte Edwards Cup but didn’t play, and first featured in the 14-player squad that travelled to Derby to play Lightning on 16th July 2022.

She made her debut for Oxfordshire in the new South Central Counties Cup at Canford School in Dorset – she scored 18 runs and took two wickets in her opening game, and took 1-11 against Berkshire in her next.

Trussler then made her senior debut for the Vipers against Northern Diamonds in the final group stage match of the 2022 Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy.
