Sophie Mitchelmore made her debut for the Vipers in the 2021 Charlotte Edwards Cup campaign against South East Stars at Utilita Bowl.

She rose through the ranks at Oxfordshire before making the move to Hampshire in 2021 where she scored 76 runs with a best of 43* against Surrey.

She made her friendly debut for the Vipers against South East Stars in 2020 and scored 104 runs for the Second XI in 2022.

In 2023, Mitchelmore was named in the Vipers first team squad for the first time off the back of an impressive off-season.

She scored twin 34s for Hampshire against Buckinghamshire and Berkshire in the Women’s County T20 competition, scoring 113 runs in five innings and picking up one wicket, also against Buckinghamshire.

Mitchelmore then featured in three friendlies and two Second XI matches, scoring 30 runs and taking two wickets.
