Arguably the fiercest rivalry in world cricket returns to the Ageas Bowl on Thursday 3rd September when England face Australia in a day-night Royal London One-Day International.
The game is the opening fixture of the five-match series between the two sides with this summer’s Ashes Test Series still likely to be fresh in the memory.

All-rounder Shane Watson hit an incredible 143 off just 107 balls the last time these two sides met at the home of Hampshire Cricket. Ravi Bopara replied with an eye-catching 62 in England’s middle order, but it wasn’t enough as the tourists finished the match winners by 49 runs.
And the Australia side is likely to be full of familiar faces when they face England this year with former Hampshire trio Shane Watson, George Bailey and Glenn Maxwell all likely to feature.
What’s more, Australia head to the Ageas Bowl as the team to beat in One-Day cricket as they recently triumphed in an emotional World Cup on home soil.
There are now fewer than 500 tickets available and those remaining are priced from £70 for Adults and £30 for Under 17s.
