Over 80% of the Hampshire Wellbeing Centre’s clients get better in four or less sessions and we’ve received the below reviews through from a number of our pleased clientele.
I was referred to Cally by my specialist who had diagnosed a torn meniscus in my knee.Richard, Physio
Cally worked with me over several weeks, suggesting exercises which really helped. She was always practical and encouraging.
At the end of my physiotherapy sessions I felt much better, and confident to keep up the exercises necessary to maintain progress.
I started having Sports Therapy treatment from Anna in March 2018 to complement physiotherapy treatment on my lower back.Chris, Sports Therapy
Anna is a highly skilled practitioner and has made a major contribution to my recovery as well as the ongoing management of my lower back condition which cannot be operated upon.
Anna’s motivational skills have also helped enormously when my spirits were down during periods when my recovery was slow and challenging.
Without hesitation, I would recommend Anna for Sports Therapy treatment.
Many thanks for the treatment today; I found it a good and professional experience.Stuart, Physio
A huge thank you for all of your help Ed, it's been great and has really given me new techniques to use to help me live better with my bipolar disorder.Patient, Hypnotherapy
Just before our sessions started I was really not good and extremely anxious, but now I feel so much better and much more in control and that's all thanks to you.
The fact I now want to get qualified in the similar field to continue my own journey with it and also to help others one day speaks volumes about how much I valued our sessions.
It's also great to know that I can simply just get back in touch with you if I feel I need a few top up sessions at any time.
I just don't know where to begin to thank you for all the kindness you showed me on Thursday. You were endlessly kind (and sensitive) and incredibly knowledgeable and you just seemed like an angel to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generosity, I am so grateful.Lizzie, Physio
The treatment I received from Dan really helped speed up my recovery and focused on making sure I'd never experience this problem again. He put me on a customised program that allowed me to continue training at a level that meant I didn't lose too much fitness even when most leg exercises were off limits! The level of support I received has meant that I am now able to return to rowing and should still have a good chance of achieving my aims for this season, even after 3 months off.Harry, Physio
I just wanted to drop you a line to express my gratitude for the highly professional service I've received from Anna Harvey over the last four months.Chris, Sports Therapy
As my Sports Therapist, Anna has provided a first class service and I've really appreciated all her advice & guidance and in particular her constant encouragement and optimism throughout this period; this has certainly been a key factor in my recovery to date.
If the Hampshire Wellbeing Centre operates a Staff Recognition Scheme for Service Excellence then Anna certainly has "my vote".
In 2015 I had quite a serious ankle ligament injury. I was referred for physio to the ankle specialist, Mel South. In my first session Mel picked up a broader injury that hadn't been identified by the hospital, referring me to the specialist consultant at The Spire. She worked closely with the consultant to ensure my treatment was appropriate. Mel's enthusiasm, dedication and knowledge made a massive difference to my recovery, keeping me highly motivated with interesting and inventive exercise routines. The support, friendship and encouragement that Mel gave me over the several months of my recovery was outstanding, and I can highly recommend her.Phil, Physio
So pleased we came across Ed! He has made the anxiety and worries in our household bearable! Fantastic with young adults and teenagers.Patient, Hypnotherapy
I have been seeing one of your team, Mel South at your clinic at the Ageas Bowl and wanted to let you know that I have been receiving fantastic care, Mel is extremely professional but also very friendly and caring.Jane, Physio
In fact your clinic as a whole is very welcoming and extremely easy to access and has plenty of parking.
Hampshire Wellbeing Centre offered me a chance to make a positive change to my long term shoulder problem. Dan at the HWC was welcoming, addressed my issues immediately, explained the reasons for my discomfort and suggested methods to resolve my problems. Now I have almost no discomfort in my shoulder and have renewed enthusiasm for my gym work; an excellent result. Thank you to Dan and the team for your help, it is much appreciated.Martin, Physio
I have been going to these classes since Anna started them. They are enjoyable and you use muscles you have forgotten you have. You also learn the kind of exercises you can do at home. The biggest benefit is you pay weekly so if you don’t go you don’t have to pay, but once you have started them you will want to go each weekSue, Active Ageing Classes
I'm really pleased with the impact your programme has had on my knee and it feels great to be able to do normal tasks like standing up or walking down the stairs without being in pain. Thanks again for all your assistance and I would have no hesitation in recommending your services to others, or indeed returning to see you myself in the future although obviously I hope this won't be needed!Paul, Physio
Ed has truly worked magic with me and taught me the tools I needed to get my life back after 4 years of being flat bound because of suffering anxiety and panic attacks. A year and a half on since first receiving the treatment I have not had a panic attack, have held down a job as a carer in a top care home for a year, passed my theory test and then my practical driving test, got my own car and now I’m a support worker for adults with learning and physical disabilities and getting married in a few months. I still suffer from anxiety but it has become manageable. I would 200% recommend Ed.Patient, Hypnotherapy
I had/have a problem with a joint in my thumb...near the base..injured when pulling on my husbands pressure stockings after his bypass operation (he could not help). Cally listened and asked lots of questions. She then suggested a support dressing and gave me exercises to do. I followed the instructions to the letter, still do the exercises daily and things have improved. The problem is now sporadic -I think it doesn't like wet weather - and the pain moved about an inch towards the wrist but it is manageable. I am so pleased I came for advice as the temptation was to keep it still and hope it got better but the movements Cally gave me are really helpful.Gill, Physio
