Robin Smith & Derek Shackleton Suites

The pavilion’s pitch-facing Robin Smith and Derek Shackleton suites are both exclusive Members’ areas on matchdays, providing the optimal view of the action from behind the bowler’s arm.

On non-matchdays the light and airy suites provide the perfect backdrop for dinners, receptions and other social gatherings, as well as conferences, meetings and presentations given their integrated audio-visual capabilities.

Both versatile suites can accommodate up to 200 guests or delegates, whilst they can be used in tandem to welcome even bigger parties.

The Smith and the Shackleton both provide sprawling views across the ground and Hampshire countryside, and are each served by private bar facilities and conveniences.

These suites take their name from two of Hampshire’s best-loved cricketing sons, and much like the men after which they are named; the suites are, quite simply, a different class.
