Utilita Bowl is the home of Hampshire Cricket, Southern Vipers and Southern Brave.

In 2023, Utilita Bowl hosted England Women in a sold-out Ashes ODI against Australia on Sunday 16th July, before England Men take on New Zealand in an ODI of their own on Sunday 10th September.

Domestic action saw Southern Vipers successfully defend their T20 title and Hampshire Hawks reach a record-breaking tenth T20 Finals Day, with plenty of other cricket to be played in other competitions.

The Hundred also returned for a third edition, which saw record attendances across each matchday for the Women's fixture.

ECB National Club Championships

Sparsholt bow out in Regional Finals while Bashley represent Dorset in National Finals

22 March 2022

Hampshire Indoor Champions Sparsholt CC made the long weekend trip to Beckenham on Sunday to take on Waltham CC in the ECB Regional Competition. Having restricted Waltham to 128/3 they were ultimateley defeated by 43 runs despite valiant efforts from the lower order.

Sparsholt qualified for the Regional finals by winning the Winchester District Indoor league and then defeating Hook & Newnham Basics CC in the county final at the Utilita Bowl in February.

In Dorset, Bashley (Rydal) CC were the county winners and they have progressed all the way to the National Finals at Lord's on 3rd April. The team defeated TBCS CC and Cheltenham Civil Service in the Regional Finals. Congratulations and good luck in the National Finals.
