In 2023, Utilita Bowl hosted England Women in a sold-out Ashes ODI against Australia on Sunday 16th July, before England Men take on New Zealand in an ODI of their own on Sunday 10th September.

Domestic action saw Southern Vipers successfully defend their T20 title and Hampshire Hawks reach a record-breaking tenth T20 Finals Day, with plenty of other cricket to be played in other competitions.

The Hundred also returned for a third edition, which saw record attendances across each matchday for the Women's fixture.

Safe Hands Workshops

Club Safeguarding Officer workshops are back for 2022

14 January 2022

Over the last 18 months or so, due to the impact of the pandemic, Safe Hands courses have been delivered virtually by the Safeguarding Team at the ECB. The delivery model has now reverted to face to face workshop, delivered by local County Cricket Board staff.

The learning outcomes for the session are as follows:

Understand the role and responsibilities of a Club Safeguarding Officer
Understand how a Club Safeguarding Officer works with others to create a safe and welcoming environment for children
Understand what policies and procedures your club should have in place
Understand how to take appropriate action in the event of a concern

There is no cost to attend the course (all 18.30 to 21.30hrs) and the dates and times are as follows:
