Hampshire Cricket offer a number of different opportunities for clubs to receive specific, high quality coaching in addition to their current in-house training schedule.
The coaches that lead our club sessions are county, district, level 2 or level 3 qualified. What’s more, a number of current Hampshire players also assist in the delivery of sessions. Our coaches utilise their vast experience to enthuse and aid cricketers fulfill their potential.

Master Classes
Master classes are our skill-specific offering and enable us to deliver in depth technical and tactical coaching and video analysis to aid understanding and progression within a certain discipline, allowing optimum coach contact time.
These master classes give players the chance to focus on a chosen discipline.
Junior & Senior Club Master Classes
Our master classes can be held at your club ground or in our test standard facilities at The Ageas Bowl. Each master class will be very specific to the club and the individuals involved but please see below for a taste of what we have to offer. Fielding Master Classes
Have our top level coaches put your club members through their paces in the field. From slip catching, to fielding in the deep, to general group sessions, our fielding master classes can be tailored to your club’s needs and have you fielding like Jonty Rhodes in no time!
Batting Master Classes
Focusing on both technical and tactical elements of batting, our master classes cover; batting against a new ball; playing against spin; batting in the middle overs; chasing down a score and setting a platform for a big total. We can also work with individuals on particular aspects of their game.
Bowling Master Classes
Specific coaches will work with the spinners and seamers from your clubs to develop their skills and improve outcomes. From the basics of bowling through to setting the right field dependent on the game situation, these master classes will ensure your bowlers are taking more wickets and conceding less runs.
Junior to Adult Cricket Master Classes
Often a big challenge for many young cricketers is making the step up to senior cricket. With our master classes we cover both the technical and tactical challenges that senior cricket can throw at young players and stand them in the best stead to be successful on the next leg of their cricketing journey.

The Zooters Under 9 Cricket Tournament is an ever-popular festival for those who are just finding their feet in the sport. Teams are guaranteed to contest a minimum of three matches, played on the Ageas Bowl's famous outfield!

Prior to the Hampshire T20 matches we will be running an ‘U11 T20 Skills Challenge’ on the main pitch at the Ageas Bowl. Your team will have the chance to compete against other clubs/schools in a variety of different challenges, whilst the professionals are warming up just metres away!
