A 13-player Hampshire squad will travel to The Kia Oval to take on Surrey in the Vitality County Championship
England Women have today announced the 2019/20 intake for the England Women's Academy Squad with four Hampshire players set to be part of the programme across the next 12 months.
Maia Bouchier, Charlie Dean and Lucia Kendall have all been included in the programme whichoffers support specific to their needs to maxiumise the chances of future transition to the senior squad.
England Women have also announced a Training Squad which sits alongside the EWA, catering for players who are currently seen as having the potential to be part of the EWA in the future.
Hampshire's Alex Avoth has been included as part of this 12 strong training squad.
We look forward to working closely with this group across the next 12 months. The opportunity to develop their skills alongside other talented players on a regular basis is an important part of their development.
