The Ageas Bowl

Hampshire Hawks take on Gloucestershire at The Ageas Bowl in their penultimate Vitality Blast group match of 2022.

With the race for a quarter-final berth heating up, this match sees fourth meet fifth with Gloucestershire just two points behind the Hawks.

James Vince’s side know a win at The Ageas Bowl on Friday will secure them a spot in the T20 competition’s last eight.

The two met at Bristol last week, with the Hawks recording a nine-run victory.

Hampshire Squad

The Hawks are unchanged since last week’s T20s against Gloucestershire and Somerset – naming the same 15-player squad.

Australian opener Ben McDermott starred with the bat at Bristol as he recorded his third half-century in the competition.

James Fuller (22 & 2-23) and Liam Dawson (20* & 1-30) both put in important all-round performances to help secure the win.

Chris Wood, Brad Wheal and Nathan Ellis also took wickets as the Hawks’ bowling attack defended the total set with the bat.
