England Women v Australia

Sunday 16th July 2023 | Ashes ODI

The Ageas Bowl will host a Women's Ashes fixture in 2023 as England Women face Australia in an ODI on Sunday 16th July, before England Men arrive to host an ODI of their own against New Zealand on Sunday 10th September 2023.

England Women’s side recently saw a record number of fans attend their fixtures over the summer of 2022, and 2023 promises to be even bigger.

A unique rivalry between England and Australia has historically existed in world cricket; however, when it comes to the Women's game there have been big games between the two sides recently, including 2022's ICC Women's Cricket World Cup final, in which Australia were crowned champions.

England aim to reclaim the Ashes trophy for the first time since 2014, following the 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup taking place in South Africa in February.

England Women's home Ashes campaign begins with a single Test Match, followed by three IT20s, and three ODIs - The Ageas Bowl hosting the penultimate fixture of the series, which is sure to be a thriller.
