The Ageas Bowl will host a Women's Ashes fixture in 2023 as England Women face Australia in an ODI on Sunday 16th July, before England Men arrive to host an ODI of their own against New Zealand on Sunday 10th September 2023.

England Women’s side recently saw a record number of fans attend their fixtures over the summer of 2022, and 2023 is looking to be even bigger after new records have been made by even more fans securing their place for the 2023 Women's Ashes.

A unique rivalry between England and Australia has historically existed in world cricket; however, when it comes to the Women's game there have been big games between the two sides recently, including 2022's ICC Women's Cricket World Cup final, in which Australia were crowned champions.

More recently, Australia became the double-world champions (ODI & IT20) after winning the ICC Women's T20 Cricket World Cup in February; England ending their campaign in the competition's Semi-Final against hosts South Africa.

The Women's Ashes campaign begins with a single five-day Test Match on Thursday 22nd June, followed by three IT20s, and three ODIs - The Ageas Bowl hosting the penultimate fixture of the series, a potentially series-deciding match, which is sure to be a thriller.

In response to record demand for tickets for recent international fixtures at The Ageas Bowl – England’s last three internationals at The Ageas Bowl sold out before tickets were released for general sale – tickets to next summer’s ODIs were subject to a priority sale and ballot in October 2022.
