Visitor Guide: Royal London Cup Semi-Final

All you need to know about Hampshire's Royal London Cup semi-final at The Ageas Bowl on Tuesday 30th August

Hampshire have been in impressive form in this summer's 50-over competition and their reward for finishing top of the Royal London Cup's Group B is a semi-final against Leicestershire or Kent at The Ageas Bowl on Tuesday 30th August.

Tuesday's semi-final will be just the third knockout match staged at The Ageas Bowl since 2013.

Tickets

Semi-final tickets are available to purchase at the cheaper, Advance rate until 11:59pm on Monday 29th August. After which, tickets will only be available at the On The Day price.

Tickets will also be available to purchase on the day of a Royal London Cup fixture from the Matchday Ticket Office, located opposite the West Gate, which will be open from 9:30am.


Accessing Your Tickets

Tickets for this summer's Royal London Cup will be digital tickets and will be easily available on the free Hampshire Cricket App or you can access them via an email confirmation of your ticket purchase.

The free-to-download Hampshire Cricket App is the ultimate matchday tool for all of Hampshire's fixtures, with attendees able to access the ground using just their device courtesy of the App's digital ticketing wallet, forward tickets to those they're attending with, find their seat and in-ground amenities at The Ageas Bowl using an interactive wayfinding map, follow live match coverage on their device and even have their say by voting on the player of the match!

If you haven’t already downloaded the App and set up a Fanscore account you’ll need to do this to access your tickets – please find instructions on to how to do so below.

1) Search 'Hampshire Cricket' in your App Store or by using the relevant link to your device below and download the free App.

2) Click the ticket icon in the App's footer menu and then 'My Tickets'.

3) Sign Up to create a FanScore account using this email address.

4) Verify your email address via the email sent from FanScore.

5) Go back to 'My Tickets' and click 'Find Tickets' and your tickets will appear.

Getting Here & Parking

We encourage our visitors to use public transport as much as possible.

Please allow plenty of time for your journey and please be aware it is possible that car parks will become full.

Season-long car parking passes are valid for this fixture.

Season-long car parking pass holders, disabled guests and hospitality guests will be parked on site.

On-site car parks will open at 9:30am.

Entry, Opening & Closing Times | General Information

The Matchday Ticket Office (located opposite the West Gate), will be open from 9:30am.

Gates will open at 10am on Tuesday, with the fixture set to commence at 11am and scheduled to finish at 6pm.

As a thank you for their excellent support during Hampshire's Royal London Cup campaign, 2022 Hampshire Members will not have to purchase a ticket to the upcoming semi-final and will instead be able to access the ground by scanning their Membership card in the turnstiles as normal.

Members' guests and ticket holders should scan their e-ticket or App Ticket to gain access.

 The venue is entirely cashless, so please ensure that you bring appropriate cards with you if you would like to purchase anything at the venue.

Seating for this fixture is unallocated.

Prohibited Items include - Musical Instruments, Flares, Laser Devices, Air Horns, Fireworks, Weapons, Whistles

An information point will be open in the Arlott Atrium for any queries that you may have, and will be open from gates opening until the close of play. Please note, any lost property should be handed in or collected from this information point or to the club shop.

The Arlott Atrium is open to all spectators in 2022, whilst the Derek Shackleton Bar will remain a reserved area for Hampshire Members, and the Roof Terrace & Robin Smith Suite reserved for Executive Club Members.

Free Wi-Fi is available to use at The Ageas Bowl for all of Hampshire's Royal London Cup matches. Simply log into 'The Ageas Bowl' in your device's Wi-Fi settings, sign-in and browse.


Food & Drink

Food & drink will be available to purchase around the ground from gates opening and caters for all dietary requirements.

A lunch service will be available to purchase in the Arlott Atrium from 12:30pm to 2:30pm.

 Alcohol will be served around the ground from 60 minutes prior to each match, with bars closing 30 minutes after the close of play.

Spectators can bring in small picnics of food, soft drinks and a maximum of four cans of beer or equivalent, or 70cl of wine can be brought into the ground for Hampshire's home Royal London Cup fixtures.

Water fountains will be available to fill water bottles up at the Hotel ends of the CIM and Shane Warne stands.

The Ageas Bowl operates a strict ‘Challenge 25’ alcohol policy and as such anyone deemed to look Under 25 will be asked to provide photographic proof of age, prior to being served. 

The on-site BEEFY'S By Sir Ian Botham Bar & Restaurant is available for bookings all day on matchdays. Please note, the restaurant will have limited availability, so please ensure that you book first.
