Ticket Refunds

Please find below all the information you need to know around our refund policy and in what scenario you would be eligible for a monetary refund/ticket exchange if the match/event you've bought a ticket for is impacted by adverse weather.


Specsavers County Championship & Royal London One-Day Cup

If play is restricted to 19.5 overs or less due to adverse weather conditions on the day to which your ticket is valid, there is no monetary refund and tickets should be retained so that they can be exchanged for another day of the same competition during the 2018 or 2019 season.

Royal London One-Day Cup Passport

Where tickets are purchased as part of a Royal London One Day Cup Passport all tickets can be exchanged in line with the terms and conditions for individual match tickets.

Specsavers County Championship Four Day Pass

Where tickets are purchased as part of a four day pass tickets for Days 1-3 can be exchanged in line with the terms and conditions for individual match tickets. Tickets for Day 4 are treated as complimentary tickets and can not be exchanged under any circumstances.

In no other circumstances will an exchange be issued and in no circumstances will a monetary refund be issued.


Vitality Blast

If play is restricted to 9.5 overs or less due to adverse weather conditions on the day to which your ticket is valid, ticket purchasers will be entitled to a full refund of the face value of the ticket or to exchange their tickets for another day of domestic cricket during the 2018 season (excludes Quarter Finals, Semi-Finals and Finals).

Ticket Exchanges For Tickets Purchased On The Day: may be claimed by sending the original tickets with your name, address, telephone contact and e-mail address in block capitals with details of the date to which you would like to exchange to: Ticket Office, The Ageas Bowl, Botley Road, West End, Southampton, Hampshire, SO30 3XH or by presenting this ticket at the Ageas Bowl Ticket Office in person within 28 days of the original fixture date.

Ticket Exchanges For Advance Bookings: may be claimed by filling out the online form emailed to the original ticket purchaser, stating details of the date to which you would like to exchange to. The online form will be available within 2 working days of the original fixture date, please do not return your tickets to the Ticket Office.

Ticket Refunds: Tickets purchased in advance by credit or debit card that have not been exchanged within 28 days of the fixture date will be automatically refunded the face value of the ticket (excluding booking and postal charges) to the original ticket purchaser.

For all other tickets, refunds may be claimed by sending this ticket as per the “ticket exchange for tickets purchased on the day” above within 28 days of the fixture date. Refunds will be made by cheque or bank transfer within 28 days of receipt of the claim. Under no circumstances will tickets be refunded on the day of a cancelled fixture.

In no other circumstances will a refund or ticket exchange be issued. 

Vitality Blast Passports: Vitality Blast Passports are not refundable under any circumstances. If play is restricted to 9.5 overs or less due to adverse weather conditions on a day of cricket to which your passport is valid you will be eligible to claim a guest ticket for another day of domestic cricket within the 2018 season (excludes Quarter Finals, Semi-Finals and Finals). Guest tickets can be claimed by completing the online form emailed to the original passport purchaser stating details of the date for which you would like your guest ticket to be issued.


England v India Test Match - Day by Day Ticket Purchase

Days 1 to 4 of the Test Match: 

If play is restricted or does not take place at the ground on the day for which this ticket is valid, you will be entitled to a refund of only the match ticket value subject to there being:

(a) 15 overs or less because of adverse weather conditions or completion of the match - a full refund

(b) 15.1 overs to 29.5 overs because of adverse weather conditions or completion of the match - a 50% refund

In no other circumstances can money be refunded

Day 5 of the Test Match:

For Day 5 tickets no refunds will be offered.

How To Claim:

In respect of tickets purchased in advance for the day on which this ticket is valid, refunds will be made automatically by Hampshire Cricket to the original purchaser only, either by refunding his or her debit or credit card or by sending a cheque.

In respect of tickets purchased at the Ground on the day for which this ticket is valid, refunds may be claimed by sending the ticket with your name and address in block capitals to Ticket Office, The Ageas Bowl, Botley Road, West End, Southampton, SO30 3XH within 28 days of the Match date. 

For refund queries telephone 023 8047 2002 (Opt.2). Please allow 30 days from the receipt of the claim for your refund to be processed.

England v India Test Match - 5 Day Passport Purchase

Days 1 to 3 of the Test Match

If play is restricted or does not take place at the ground on Days 1 to 3 of the match, you will be entitled to a part refund of your passport ticket subject to there being:

(a) 15 overs or less on a single day because of adverse weather conditions or completion of the match - a 1/3 refund;

(b) 15.1 overs to 29.5 overs on a single day because of adverse weather conditions or completion of the match - a 1/6 refund.

If play is restricted or does not take place on Days 4 to 5 of the match no refunds will be offered.
