England v India 2022 IT20

I have purchased tickets and the date of the fixture has since been moved - from Wednesday 6th July 2022 to Thursday 7th July 2022 - do I need to do anything?

No, all tickets purchased for the England v India Vitality IT20 in July 2022 will be automatically valid for the new date of Thursday 7th July 2022 and ticket holders do not need to take any action.

I can no longer attend due to the date of the fixture being moved, can I claim a refund?

Yes, if you or members of your group can no longer attend due to the date change you can claim a refund. To do so, simply click here. Please note, refund requests must be received by Sunday 7th November.

Ballot FAQs

How does the ballot work?

If you are not a Member of Hampshire Cricket or do not have access to tickets through our priority window, the best way to try and secure tickets is to enter the ballot. If you are successful you will be emailed with a link to purchase your tickets.

How do I enter the ballot?

You can enter the ballot by visiting www.ageasbowl.com/ballot and completing the ballot form by 11:59pm on Thursday 14th October.

How many tickets can I apply for?

You can apply for up to 8 tickets through the ballot form. For groups of more than 8 tickets, please email tickets@ageasbowl.com to discuss a group booking, and a member of our team will be in touch directly to discuss your booking requirements.

How will I know if my application is successful?

All applicants will be notified of the result of their application by email by Tuesday 12th October and sent a link inviting them to purchase the tickets they applied for.

Can I purchase more tickets than I have been allocated?

No. Any tickets that are purchased in addition to those that have been allocated will be cancelled without notice.

Will I have the opportunity to purchase additional seats after the ballot?

Once the ballot has closed, any remaining tickets will go on general sale at which point additional tickets can be purchased if available.

How do I purchase the tickets I have been allocated?

Successful applicants will receive an email containing a link to purchase tickets.

Am I obligated to purchase the tickets I am allocated?

No, you do not have to buy tickets if you are successful in the ballot.

Can I purchase Under-17 tickets in the ballot?

Yes Under-17 tickets are available to purchase.

Can I select specific seats?

Ballot tickets are purchased within a price band area, specific seats will be allocated around four weeks before the game. You can view the areas of the ground which apply to each price band at www.ageasbowl.com/cricket/tickets/international-seating-plans.

I require an accessible seat/essential companion to attend. Can I apply through the ballot?

Yes. Please complete the accessibility section of the ballot form when prompted. For more information on please visit www.ageasbowl.com/cricket/accessibility.

If I am not successful will I still be able to purchase tickets?

If there are still tickets available once the Members Priority and Ballot allocations have taken place, any remaining tickets will go on general sale on a first come first served basis.

If the match or my tickets are cancelled in 2022, am I eligible for a refund?

Yes, all tickets are refundable if the match does not go ahead or is played behind closed doors. Please note this does not include booking fees. Should we be required to reduce capacity for the fixture cancelled tickets will be refunded in line with our rollback policy.

International Ticket Rollover FAQs

How can I select a match to rollover my tickets?

Please complete the Ticket Rollover Form where you will be able to select your preferred match by clicking here.

When does the form have to be completed by?

Please complete the Ticket Rollover Form by Thursday 30th September.

Are my tickets guaranteed once the Ticket Rollover Form is completed?

Ticket Rollovers will be processed prior to any other tickets going on sale.

Can I split my rolled over tickets across both games?

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate requests to split tickets across multiple matches.

Can I select specific seats?

Your tickets will be allocated by our team in the Price Band Area that you previously purchased tickets within. If you have requested an accessible seat our team will select an appropriate area or may contact you directly for more information.

I want to upgrade my tickets or change a U17 ticket to an adult ticket?

Please use this phase to guarantee your seats. Following the rollover phase, you will be able to upgrade tickets through our ticketing team. Please be aware, we are unable to process ticket downgrades or partial refunds.

I am unable to attend either date, what should I do?

If you are unable to attend on either day then please complete our refund request form and a member of our team will be in touch.

What happens if I do not complete the form by 30th September?

Anyone not selecting a match by 30th September will have a credit placed on their online ticketing account.

I’ve changed my mind, what should I do?

Please email us at tickets@ageasbowl.com and a member of the team will amend your response.

My details have changed since making the booking, what should I do?

Please complete the form using your most up to date details and email our Ticketing Team at tickets@ageasbowl.com requesting that your details are updated on our ticketing system.

My question hasn’t been answered above, what should I do?

Please email us at tickets@ageasbowl.com and a member of the team will get back to you.

Purchasing Tickets FAQs

How can I buy tickets?

Tickets can be booked online here.

Tickets and retail can be purchased in person, by visiting The Ageas Bowl Store, which is open between 10am - 4pm Monday - Friday. You can find the on-site Store within the venue's West Gate.

If you would prefer to contact one of the Ticketing Team, please note that phone lines are open from 10am – 4pm Monday - Friday. Please e-mail tickets@ageasbowl.com if you are unable to find the information you require here, if you would like to arrange a call back please include your telephone number within your email.

What is the maximum number of tickets I can purchase?

For international fixtures, a maximum number of eight tickets can be purchased online per person. Groups of nine or more can be booked by contacting The Ageas Bowl's Ticketing Team via tickets@ageasbowl.com.

For all domestic fixtures, a maximum number of nine tickets can be purchased online per person for any matches. Groups of ten or more can benefit from discounted prices and can be booked by emailing tickets@ageasbowl.com.

Can I select specific seats?

For international fixtures, Hampshire Cricket Members can select specific seats for international ticket purchases. All other international tickets are purchased within a price band area, specific seats will be allocated around four weeks before the game. You can view the areas of the ground which apply to each price band by clicking here.

For general admission fixtures, no specific seats are sold.

Are there any concessionary ticket prices?

Concessionary rates are available for those aged 60 or over on the 1st April for LV= Insurance County Championship and Royal London Cup matches. We offer student rates for Vitality Blast matches upon production of a valid NUS/Student card. There are no concessions available for International matches.

How do I enquire about accessible tickets?

I am a disabled person and require support attending matches, what is your policy on companion tickets?

For all matches and events we offer complimentary Essential Companion tickets for disabled supporters. These tickets are available to supporters who have a genuine requirement for support and you may be asked to provide suitable evidence to access companion tickets. Are tickets assigned to specific seats?

Tickets purchased through the International Ticket Ballot are purchased within a price band area, specific seats will be allocated around four weeks before the game. For matches in The Hundred you will be allocated specific seating. For domestic matches, seats are generally unallocated, although this policy may change in line with safety requirements if they are still required. Please refer to pre-match information which will be communicated to you.

Are there any booking fees incurred when purchasing tickets?

Yes, for International matches a booking fee of £2.00 will be applied to each individual ticket purchased online and over the phone. No other booking fees apply. Booking fees are non-refundable.

Is there a charge for babies?

Children under the age of 3 on the date of the match are permitted entry into the ground free of charge as long as they do not occupy their own seat. Should you wish to purchase a seat, you can do so at the standard price of an under-17 ticket.

Is there an age restriction for unaccompanied children?

Children under the age of 14 are only permitted into the venue with an accompanying adult over the age of 18.

How many people does a family ticket cover?

A family ticket permits entry for two adults and two children under the age of 17.

Ticketing FAQs

I have purchased tickets, am I able to get a refund?

Unfortunately, once tickets have been booked, they are non-refundable. For further information on ticket refunds please click here.

I’ve purchased my tickets, when will I receive them?

Tickets for both International and Domestic matches will be sent as electronic tickets, three weeks prior to the fixture you are attending. You will also be able to access your tickets and forward them to friends and family via the Hampshire Cricket App. Visit www.ageasbowl.com/app for more information and to download.

I live overseas, how will I get my tickets?

If tickets are purchased by someone living overseas they must select tickets to be collected on the day. Collectors will need to bring ID and proof of purchase to prove they are the original ticket purchaser.

What happens if I have selected TicketToApp as my ticket delivery method?

If you have selected TicketToApp as your delivery method you will need to download the Hampshire Cricket App which is free to download across both iOS and Android devices. This can done by following the step-by-step guide which is available to download here.

Please note once the App has been downloaded, a barcode will only appear on the ticket on the day of the match, three hours before it is due to start.

I have lost my tickets, what should I do?

Please contact the ticket office by emailing tickets@ageasbowl.com. Requests for duplicate tickets must be made by the original ticket purchaser and will be reissued electronically.

I am unable to log in to my online account. What should I do?

It may be because you have an old or different email address to the one registered on our system. If you have a new email address and wish to change it, please email tickets@ageasbowl.com.

If you are unable to remember your password please use the ‘Forgotten your password’ link which can be found underneath the login button. If you are trying to activate your account but are unable to because the system is saying your account has already been activated, please follow the ‘Forgotten your Password link’. If problems persist please email tickets@ageasbowl.com.

I need to update my address details. How do I do this?

If you have an online account with us, you can update your address by logging into your account and clicking on ‘My Account’. Here you can amend any of your personal details. Alternatively, you can email us at tickets@ageasbowl.com

What do you class as a restricted view?

A restricted view if defined as one where any part of the bowlers run up or the wicket-to-wicket area itself is obscured. Partially restricted view seats will be sold once the match is listed as sold out and will be available at a discounted adult price.

Where is the Alcohol Free and Family stands located?

Alcohol Free Stand – Upper Block S in the Colin Ingleby-Mackenzie stand

Matchday FAQs

What time do you open on a match day?

LV= Insurance County Championship – 30 minutes before the gates open. (Gates open 60 minutes before the commencement of play)

Royal London Cup – 30 minutes before the gates open. (Gates open 90 minutes before the commencement of play)

Vitality Blast – 60 minutes before the gates open. (Gates open 90 minutes before the commencement of play)

Internationals – 60 minutes before the gates open. (Gates open 2 hours before the commencement of play)

How do I get to the Ageas Bowl?

Can I park my car at the Ageas Bowl on a match day?

What time to gates open on a match day?

LV= Insurance County Championship – 60 minutes before the commencement of play

Royal London Cup – 90 minutes before the commencement of play

Vitality Blast – 90 minutes before the commencement of play

Internationals – 2 hours before the commencement of play

Can I leave the Ageas Bowl during a match and return later?

Yes, for cricket matches we operate a re-entry policy at the ground. Should you wish leave you must pass out through one of our turnstiles, or have you ticket scanned by a steward. This policy will vary for concerts.

Can I bring medication into the ground?

Yes, in order to bring medication into the ground for major match days, Vitality Blast matches and concerts you would need to send a copy of your doctor’s note to tickets@ageasbowl.com. A member of the team will then send you a formal letter which you will need to bring with you on the day of the match/concert to show the stewards.

Can I bring alcohol into the ground?

No alcohol can be brought into the ground for Vitality Blast, Internationals, The Hundred or any other major matches/concerts.

A maximum of four cans of beer or equivalent, or 70cl of wine may be brought into the ground for Royal London Cup and LV= Insurance County Championship matches.

Am I allowed to smoke in the ground?

Smoking is only permitted in the designated areas, this includes e-cigarettes. There are located to the west and east entrances to the main Pavilion and around the ground away from arena seating.

Can I access the Pavilion and Arlott Atrium on match days?

The Rod Bransgrove Pavillion and Arlott Atrium are open to all ticket holders for all domestic and International fixtures. However, certain areas of the Rod Bransgrove Pavillion are available to Members only, including the Derek Shackleton suite for both domestic and International match days. The Robin Smith suite is only open to Executive Members on domestic match days and hospitality guests for Internationals.

How can I keep up to date with match day information?

On Hampshire match days, there are a variety of different options to be able to find out more match day information.

Am I able to request a shout out for a special occasion over the loud speaker?

Yes, please email the message and details to enquiries@ageasbowl.com. Although we will do our best to respond to all requests, it is not always possible for these to be accommodated during some matches.

Are dogs permitted into the ground?

Dogs are not permitted with the exception of assistance dogs.

Are musical instruments allowed to be brought into the Ageas Bowl.

Unfortunately, we do not allow musical instruments into the ground.

Is there a cloakroom provision at the ground?

No, unfortunately we do not offer a cloakroom or left luggage service.

May I bring a pushchair into the ground?

Yes, you are able to bring pushchairs into the ground and there is an unmanned storage area for buggy’s in the entrance to the Shane Warne stand and Colin Ingleby-Mackenzie stand which are left at the owners' own risk.

Is fancy dress permitted at the Ageas Bowl?

Yes, and in fact, during particular matches if it's been proactively encouraged, spot prizes may be given for the best costumes and attire.

Parking & Transport FAQs

I am a blue badge holder. Is there accessible parking available at the stadium?

We have a limited number of accessible parking spaces available at The Ageas Bowl. Spaces are only available if booked in advance for International matches and major concerts. We would strongly recommend booking in advance for all matches and events hosted at The Ageas Bowl. To book parking please contact the Ticket Office on 02380 472002.

I have purchased car parking in advance, can this be refunded if the match is abandoned?

Unfortunately, as stated in the terms and conditions car parking purchased in advance and on the day is non-refundable.
