Following the success of ‘#RISE for England’ the England and Wales Cricket Board has launched an interactive campaign encouraging fans to ‘RISE for England Women’ and show their support for the team ahead of the Women’s Ashes Series - one fixture of which is being played at The Ageas Bowl.

The artwork features England Women’s players and will be used across all of ECB’s digital channels. The first in a series of exclusive videos highlighting players ‘RISE to the Top’ features England Women’s captain Charlotte Edwards can be viewed here. Further episodes will be available throughout the Women’s Ashes Series on youtube.com/ecbcricket and ecb.co.uk/womensashes.

Fans tweeting their message of support using #WomensAshes could be featured on a ‘Wall of Support’ in the England Women’s team room during the Women’s Ashes Test at Wormsley which commences on Sunday August 11.

Throughout the Series, which comprises one Test, three NatWest Women’s Internationals and three NatWest Women’s International T20 matches, www.ecb.co.uk/womensashes will offer fans live scores, news and highlights of every days play.

The Women's Ashes match to be played at The Ageas Bowl is a T20 International on Thursday 29 August. It precedes the men's T20I on the same day. Tickets will get purchasers into both matches and can be bought online via the Ageas Bowl ticketing website, over the phone on 0844 847 1863 (24 hours a day) or in person at The Ageas Bowl ticket office (find us) during normal office hours.

Chief Executive of ECB, David Collier, said: “This is an extremely exciting and important summer for the England Women’s team as they battle to regain the Ashes in a new and innovative format. This campaign offers cricket lovers across the county the opportunity to show their support for Charlotte Edwards and her team as they take on the Australians. We, at ECB, wish them every success in the Women’s Ashes Series.”
