What to know before you go for Hampshire Hawks’ Vitality Blast matches at The Ageas Bowl in 2022

This year Vitality Blast returns for the T20 competition's 20th season with Hampshire Hawks contesting seven huge matches at The Ageas Bowl.

Buying Tickets

Tickets are available to purchase at the cheaper, Advance rate until 11:59pm the day before each match, after which tickets will only be available at the On The Day rate. 

Tickets can be purchased via The Ageas Bowl’s online ticketing website courtesy of the link below or in person at The Ageas Bowl Store (Mon - Fri: 10am - 4pm).

Seating is reserved for Ticket Plus and Hospitality guests and unreserved for all general admission tickets.

Accessing Your Tickets

All tickets for this summer's Vitality Blast will be digital tickets and available on the free Hampshire Cricket App.

If you haven’t already downloaded the App and set up a Fanscore account you’ll need to do this to access your tickets – please find instructions on to how to do so below.

1) Search 'Hampshire Cricket' in your App Store or by using the relevant link to your device below and download the free App.

2) Click the ticket icon in the App's footer menu and then 'My Tickets'.

3) Sign Up to create a FanScore account using this email address.

4) Verify your email address via the email sent from FanScore.

5) Go back to 'My Tickets' and click 'Find Tickets' and your tickets will appear.

Once you’ve set up a Fanscore account and accessed your tickets on the App you’ll be able to forward on any tickets you’ve bought for friends and family to them. Once they accept the ticket it will then disappear from your wallet.

Free Buses and Travel

Please note, on-site car parking at The Ageas Bowl is only available to seasonal car parking pass holders, blue badge holders and Vitality Blast Car Parking Passport holders - there will be no parking available to purchase on the day.

Free buses will be available for all fans travelling to and from all of Hampshire Hawks' Vitality Blast fixtures at The Ageas Bowl in 2022.

These free direct buses will be available from both Southampton Airport Parkway Railway Station and Hedge End Station, running continuously from 4:30pm for weekday fixtures and 12pm for weekend fixtures.

The buses will depart from immediately outside both stations - simply head for the Hampshire Hawks flags upon arrival at the stations!

The buses heading back to the stations from The Ageas Bowl will depart from opposite the West Gate turnstiles and the last bus back to the stations will leave 30 minutes after the end of the match.

You won't need a ticket or any accreditation to use the free buses - simply turn up at the stations and get on board - however, if you are planning to use the buses we would ask you to complete the short registration form (available below) to ensure we're able to provide enough vehicles for all fans using the services.

There is a chance the roads around The Ageas Bowl will be busy on match days.

In an attempt to alleviate any congestion, car parks will be open from 120 minutes prior to the start of the game.

Rail Replacement Bus Service: Hampshire Hawks v Gloucestershire (Fri 1st July)

Please note, engineering work will take place on South Western Railwail lines between Eastleigh and Fareham from 25th June - 3rd July. This means no trains will run to Hedge End Railway Station for Hampshire Hawks v Gloucestershire on Friday 1st July, however a Rail Replacement Bus service will be running between these two stations, calling at Hedge End and Botley.

Opening & Closing Times

 Upon arrival, please ensure you have downloaded the Hampshire Cricket App and accessed your tickets on the App. You'll then be able to scan your digital tickets at the turnstiles at the West Gate (see instructions located above in 'Tickets' section on this webpage).

Hampshire Cricket Members (excl. Standard Members) can scan their Membership cards via the West Gate turnstiles to gain access.

Seating at all Vitality Blast fixtures is unallocated (excl. Ticket Plus & Hospitality)

An information point will be open in the Arlott Atrium for any queries that you may have, and will be open from gates opening until the close of play. Please note, any lost property should be handed in or collected from this information point.

The Arlott Atrium is open to all spectators in 2022, whilst the Derek Shackleton Bar will remain a reserved area for Hampshire Members, and the Roof Terrace & Robin Smith Suite reserved for Executive Club Members.

Ticket sales & queries: the Matchday Ticket Office (located at top of hill) will be open from 10am - 9pm.

Tickets to the 'el clasicoast' T20 Double-Header and Memberships (excl. Standard) grant admission to both matches from gates opening at 1:30pm.

Hampshire Hawks T20s (Thu 9 June, Fri 17 June, Sun 19 June, Fri 1 July)

Ticket sales & queries (for evening T20s): The Ageas Bowl Store (located inside the West Gate) will be open from 10am - 2pm, before the Matchday Ticket Office (located at top of hill) opens from 2pm - 9pm.

Ticket sales & queries (afternoon T20, Sun 19 June): the Matchday Ticket Office (located at top of hill) will be open from 10am - 9pm.

Gates will open at 90 minutes prior to the start of Hampshire Hawks' matches.

All evening matches will start at 7pm and are scheduled to finish at 9.45pm. The afternoon games will commence at 2.30pm and are scheduled to finish by 5.15pm.


Free Entertainment & Activities

There will be numerous matchday activations running free of charge for every Hampshire Hawks T20 at The Ageas Bowl this summer.

Get your face painted with Hawks colours on arrival and get your photo with Hawky at the West Gate!

Enjoy cricket challenges, giant inflatables and a simulator available around the ground during each T20 game at The Ageas Bowl.

There will be live music or a DJ set after every game - starting as soon as the last ball has been bowled and located outside of the Arlott Atrium.


Food & Drink

The best food & drink in English cricket - as voted for by cricket fans around the country - is on offer at The Ageas Bowl on Vitality Blast matchdays.

Food & drink will be available to purchase around the ground from gates opening, with a host of concessions available to try including: Angus burgers, Mexican, Philly steak, Chinese, ice cream, fish & chips, hand made sandwiches/wraps, churros, pizza, hog roast, crepes & coffee, Greek, pick & mix sweets, street fries and the venue's famous on-site Sanjha Indian concession.

The Arlott Atrium (Rod Bransgrove Pavilion) and Boundary Bar (Hilton Hotel End) will be serving pies and sausage rolls, whilst the Derek Shackleton Suite (Members only) will be serving pies and mash.

There will be a host of vegetarian, vegan. gluten-free and halal options available around the ground.

Free-to-use water fountains are located at the hotel-end of both the Shane Warne and Colin Ingleby-Mackenzie Stands.

Alcohol will be served around the ground from 90 minutes prior to each match, with bars closing 30 minutes after the close of play. 

Please note, no alcohol can be brought into the ground and only alcohol purchased on-site may be consumed. 

The Ageas Bowl operates a strict ‘Challenge 25’ alcohol policy and as such anyone deemed to look Under 25 will be asked to provide photographic proof of age, prior to being served.

The Ageas Bowl is a cashless venue.

All of the concession stands will be accepting contactless payments during all matchdays.
