Voting closes on Monday 29th July for June’s Ringwood Fans’ Player of the Month award.

The competition lets Hampshire supporters have their say on which Royal has reigned supreme over the last few weeks and gives them the chance to be guests of Ringwood at a Hampshire match at The Ageas Bowl where they will make the award presentation to their Player of the Month! Not only that, but they will receive 24 bottles of Ringwood (all voters must be over the age of 18) to enjoy with their friends.

Some suggestions for possible worthy recipients are included below but fans may vote for any member of the full squad (including those on development contracts)...

Michael Carberry, for his knock of 60 from just 45 balls against Surrey in the Hampshire Royals’ opening Friends Life t20 match of the season. Carbs also hit 53 in Hampshire’s 46-run victory over Derbyshire in the YB40.

Neil McKenzie, for his innings of 146 in his first match of the season for Hampshire against Kent in the LV=CC match at The Ageas Bowl.

Liam Dawson, for a knock of 69 in the Royals’ YB40 match against the Durham Dynamos and an unbeaten 87 in Hampshire’s LV=CC match against Kent. Dawson is also Hampshire’s leading run-scorer in the longer format.

Sohail Tanvir, for figures of 4-39 in the Hampshire Royals’ YB40 match against the Durham Dynamos.

To enter, fans must visit www.ageasbowl.com/player-of-the-monthand submit their details. They must be over the age of 18 (proof of ID will be required) and they must be available to attend the presentation game stated below (any winner who has already bought a ticket will receive a full refund). Any nominations that do not fulfil these criteria may not be counted (full details at ageasbowl.com/terms-and-conditions).

Fans have until 9am on Monday 29th July to apply. The presentation will take place during the Friends Life t20 match between Hampshire and Middlesex on Wednesday 31st July at The Ageas Bowl.
