Multi-million selling artist, Barry Manilow is coming to The Ageas Bowl on Saturday 24 May 2014.
The music superstar, known for hits like, “Mandy”, “Can’t Smile Without You” and “Copacabana (at The Copa),” will perform for one night only in the first concert at the venue since 2008’s visit of REM.
With more than 50 Top 40 hits, Manilow's unparalleled career encompasses virtually every arena of music, including performing, composing, arranging and producing. A Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee, he has triumphed in every medium of entertainment.
With worldwide record sales exceeding 80 million, Manilow has produced, arranged, and released more than 40 albums over the course of his career. This pop icon has written hundreds of songs and performed around the globe, thrilling millions of fans, winning a Grammy, two Emmys, a Tony Award and an Oscar nomination along the way.
The Ageas Bowl is licensed to hold concerts of up to 35,000 spectators in a mixture of permanent stand seating, temporary pitch seating and pitch standing areas.
Past shows have included Oasis (2005), Billy Joel (2006), The Who (2007), Neil Diamond (2008) and REM (2008).

· You are advised to purchase car parking in advance of the event by clicking on the link above. Parking at the Ageas Bowl will be available on the day at a cost of £15, subject to availability
· A taxi booking desk will be in operation at the venue. In addition, a taxi rank will operate after the event immediately outside the West Gate.
· If you are travelling by train, you are advised to carefully check train times in advance. (www.nationalrail.co.uk). The last train to London Waterloo from Southampton Parkway Station will be held until 11.15pm
· Gates will open at 5.00pm and the show will finish by 10.30pm.
· All tickets are for an allocated seat. The majority of seats are open to the elements; you should therefore dress appropriately for the expected weather conditions.
· NO ALCOHOL may be brought into the venue. Soft drinks and food are permitted
