Based at the world class Ageas Bowl stadium, The Orbit is Hampshire Cricket in the Community’s unique funky twist on a classroom and learning centre. Designed in conjunction with young people and the elderly, the hugely adaptable space delivers a range of educational embedding and enrichment projects alongside programmes for the elderly, SEN, NEETs and those seeking alternative provision.
Quite simply, The Orbit has the versatility to adapt to your every need, whatever the group and individuals involved.
The room houses a vast array of up-to-date multi-platform technology for up to 30 people with staff on hand to guide those in need of technology training.

Since its launch in October 2013, The Orbit has delivered a broad range of popular educational and community projects, which may be viewed here. Visitors and frequent users have varied from as children as young as 6 through to GCSE and college students alongside the ever increasing elderly population.
