Coach Education Programme 2014 - 2015
Welcome to our coach education programme for community cricket coaching. This page will help you or your club understand what courses are on offer within the county and make an informed decision before you apply.
We are very thankful to each and every one of you who will embark on a coach education course this year, whether you are supporting existing coaches, leading sessions or improving your current skills.

What courses are on offer?
Please click here to access our prospectus which will provide details of the courses on offer and application form.
Which course is best for me?
The Course and Workshop Guide provides all the information you need to help you choose the right course for you. Alternatively please use the ECB course selector which will help to make your decision as easy as possible.
Please note, if you wish to view and complete the application form on a mobile device such as an iPad/Phone Samsung phone/tablet, please download the Adobe Reader app. The links are below for the relevant app but can be found just as easily via the Apple “App” store and the Google Play store on your device.
Is there a deadline for applications?
-
Continuous Professional Development Workshops - deadline 15th October
-
For Coach Support Worker and Certificate courses*,- deadline 31st October
*Please note candidates wishing to apply for the certificate courses must be 18 years of age on March 1st 2015
What happens after the deadlines?
We will notify you shortly after the relevant deadline to advise whether you have been placed on your chosen course. If you have been successful, we will also outline the payment and joining instructions. You or your club/organisation will have 7 days from the day you receive confirmation to make payment to secure your place on the course, before it is offered to those held on the waiting list.
What’s NEW for 2015?
We will be offering a pre-course session for candidates taking the certificate courses, as well as induction sessions for coaches who will be supporting certificate course candidates with their supported practice. Whilst these sessions aren’t compulsory they are highly recommended and are there to provide the best experience both on and away from the course.
An interactive tool has been produced to provide coaches who will be supporting candidates with an insight into some of the content and themes delivered on course.
Should you have any questions about ECB Coach Education please contact John Cook, Cricket Development Manager, 07766 838779.
