County and National Club Championships are the pinnacle for junior club teams in Hampshire.
The Alan Rowe Trophy U11 County Club Championship
The Alan Rowe Trophy is named after one of Hampshire Cricket’s great servants. Alan Rowe worked as a Cricket Development Officer for Hampshire Cricket Board for many years developing the sport at grassroots level throughout the County. Alan is a renowned spin bowling coach who has made a huge impact on the development of players, clubs and coaches and many of his initiatives remain in place to this day.
ECB U13 & U15 National Club Championships
The ECB U13 and U15 National Club Championship provide opportunities for the top club teams from across England and Wales to go head to head in competition. Through the years Hampshire clubs have produced a number of national finalists in both age groups. St Cross (pictured) were national under 13 champions in 2012, and since 2008 Yateley have finished as runners-up while Portsmouth & Southsea and Hambledon have also reached the final stages.
The Kerry Cup U17 County Club Championship
The Kerry Cup is named after Harry Kerry (1913-2013) who has been involved in sport in North East Hampshire since 1936. Harry completed a vast array of voluntary roles and his contribution, particularly within cricket, greatly benefited the local community. The competition was first run in 2010 and has been set up to maintain the motivation of players while they are making the transition between junior and senior cricket.
