The Hampshire Wellbeing Centre is the Ageas Bowl's bespoke healthcare facility offering a wide selection of services to all.

Here at the Hampshire Wellbeing Centre we offer an extensive range of treatments and activities for both physical and mental issues and ailments.

With over 190 years of combined clinical knowledge in our physiotherapy team alone, we are confident we will be able to help you optimise your outcome - whatever the issue - when you work with us.

Coronavirus Management and the Hampshire Wellbeing Centre

On the advice of the Government, and our professional organizations, we stopped the Physiotherapy and sports massage therapy aspects of our business on 27th March 2020, and converted to online consultations with those who wished to receive these. However, the recent changes announced by the government means that the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy have reviewed its recommendation to private practice and we have been advised that we should open once again to face to face consultations under specific protocols and procedures.

From 1st June we have begun to offer face to face physiotherapy consultations once again, but only when an online consultation is not appropriate.  Please see the below link to help define when face to face consultations will be offered.

Face To Face or Virtual Consultation Decision Making
Patient Consent For Face To Face Consultation

Online consultations will still be available for patients who prefer not to have a face-to-face appointment, and these will always be offered as our first line of intervention.

We have been very busy setting up enhanced procedures and protocols allowing us to confidently and safely deliver treatment to those patients that need to attend our centre, and we have already been successfully operating our Podiatry and baby scanning services throughout the Coronavirus pandemic. Please be assured that we have taken a meticulous approach to our protocols to ensure everyone's safety.

The use of screening questionnaires for staff and patients, even stricter hygiene protocols, and a full complement of PPE (including face masks, gloves and aprons), makes us confident that we are doing everything we possibly can to make treatment at the Hampshire Wellbeing Centre as safe as possible. Please follow the link (patient consent to face to face document) to view all our interventions to help keep everyone safe.

If you would like any further information, or if you feel you require treatment, please do contact a member of the team on 02380 475637 or email enquiries@hantswellbeingcentre.com and we can discuss your requirements. Sadly, at this time, our sports therapy and sports massage therapy services remain closed.  Any vouchers are currently frozen from 16th March, and all timescales will be adjusted accordingly.

If you are a previous patient, whose treatment in March was affected by the pandemic outbreak, please be assured we will contact you very soon but please do still email or call if you wish.

Best wishes

Dan Young

Hampshire Wellbeing Centre Manager

We most often see clients from our local area who have a diverse range of problems that they wish to resolve, but we also have clients who travel from further afield to seek out our expertise.

The majority of our clients use our services to help them stay fit and active but we also look after elite athletes, including the Hampshire Cricket team, and support many amateur athletes as they train to perform their best.
